This Victorian ring features a rectangular hardstone cameo in glossy black and white, bezel-set within an architectural openwork frame. The cameo measures 13.5x9mm and depicts a classical profile with crisp detail. Eleven luminous seed pearls ranging from 1.5-2mm decorate the setting, all in nice, still bright condition. An antique old European cut diamond measuring 4mm across sits prong-set at the top of the piece, graded SI2. The setting has a distinctly Victorian character with its decorative openwork and pearl accents. The piece was likely converted from another form of jewelry sometime in the early 1900s. The shank tapers from the face to 2mm at the base, making for a comfortable fit. The ring stands approximately 9.8mm tall on the finger.
