All our pieces are authentic estate jewelry items unless otherwise noted, inspected for quality and described to the best of our ability.

Please note: Coupons can’t be used on already discounted items, and bench jeweler services such as resizing or alterations aren’t eligible for discounts. Custom or altered items are final sale. Full details are below.

1. About Us
This website is operated by Accidental Antiquarian LLC, doing business as Opaline Estate Jewelry, 4735 123rd St W, Suite 200, Savage, MN 55378. By purchasing from us online, in our shop, or through any of our sales channels, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Jewelry
Estate and antique jewelry has been worn and loved before. Unless otherwise noted, pieces will show wear consistent with their age, such as light surface scratches, softened details, or minor imperfections. These are not considered defects. Circa dates, materials, measurements, and weights are given to the best of our knowledge. Gemstones in antique and vintage jewelry may have been treated or enhanced at some point in their history. We test and identify stones to the best of our ability, and any laboratory reports provided are noted in the listing. Product descriptions are not appraisals unless specifically stated.

3. Pricing and Errors
Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. All pieces are one of a kind. If an item sells in more than one place at the same time, we will notify you and refund you in full.

4. Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless you are on an approved layaway plan. Applicable sales tax is collected where required.

5. Layaway
Layaway is available by request. The total is typically divided into 4 monthly payments, or 5 monthly payments for select consignment pieces over $2,000. Pieces ship once paid in full. Layaway purchases are final sale. [If a payment is missed: e.g., after X days the layaway may be cancelled and payments refunded less a $X fee / issued as store credit.]

6. Discounts and Coupons
Coupons cannot be combined with already discounted items. Bench jeweler services, including resizing and alterations, are not eligible for discounts.

7. Shipping
Domestic US orders ship free and fully insured. International orders incur a shipping fee, and the buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees charged by their country. These are not refundable. [We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.]

8. Returns, Resizing, and Custom Work
Returns are accepted as outlined in our Refund Policy. Resized, altered, or custom items are final sale. Apparel and non-jewelry items are made to order and are final sale.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that item.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your purchase applies.
