An exceptional antique Victorian brooch featuring three hand-carved hardstone cameos in rich reddish-orange tones. Each cameo is unique, finely detailed, and set in 124K gold with a warm rosy hue. The cameos portray woman in Elizabethan-style dress. The central cameo is flanked by two smaller cameos that may represent her daughters, creating a striking and symbolic composition. The cameos are framed with a half halo of luminous seed pearls in excellent condition, ranging from 2mm to 1.25mm, and delicate gold leaf and scroll motifs. This impressive piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant, thanks to its secure C-catch clasp and hidden bale. This beautiful piece is ready to wear or collect.
