A playful and highly collectible pair of mid-century earrings by William Spratling, featuring stylized curved fish with warm tortoiseshell accents. The sculptural silver bodies are accented with simple dot details, while the translucent shell adds depth and contrast. Spratling—an American designer working in Taxco, Mexico—is widely credited with pioneering the Mexican silver revival in the 1930s–40s, bringing pre-Columbian and modernist design influences into international prominence. His work remains among the most sought-after in vintage Mexican silver.
