This 1960s–70s brutalist cocktail ring features a nephrite jade cabochon set within a freeform, branch-like gold frame. The jade is deep green and semi-opaque, held in place by organic prongs that extend from the sculptural surround. The textured gold has an almost bark or coral-like quality, while the shank is polished smooth. The overall effect is bold and artistic, more wearable sculpture than traditional ring. It sits prominently on the finger with a face measuring 18.7mm wide.
