This sterling silver locket features a hand-enameled floral wreath on a black matte ground. Pink roses and purple violets are set among green leaves, all rendered in soft matte enamel that gives the piece a painterly quality. The locket is round and opens from a hinge at the top, snapping closed securely. A natural patina has developed across the silver, lending the piece an aged character consistent with its Art Deco origins.

Condition

The locket snaps closed nicely and the hinge functions well. Patina is present across the silver surfaces. The back and interior show minor denting and light scratches consistent with age and use. The enamel is intact.
