Handmade Garnet & Diamond Clover Ring

A whimsical conversion ring featuring a clover-form cluster composed of three garnet cabochons surrounding a small bezel diamond center in Gold Filled metal. This ring is likely converted from a stick pin however it is slightly crude in nature. The gems have a rich rasberry hue, contrasting nicely with the center diamond. The ring has nice finger coverage and a comfortable low profile.

CONDITION
Charming antique condition with visible evidence of the conversion. The work is somewhat crude, with small tool marks and minor wear consistent with hand fabrication. Under magnification, subtle traces of jeweler’s epoxy are visible. Garnet cabochons are free of defects and display strong color and smooth appearance. Priced to reflect its converted nature, this ring is best appreciated as a character-rich jewel rather than a precision-made jewel. (A personal favorite none the less!)
