This is a Victorian cigar band ring in warm rose gold featuring a continuous trefoil pattern. The design terminates in a small cartouche, originally intended for engraved initials. The smooth rose gold carries a perfect patina that emphasizes the raised details of the pattern, giving the trefoil motif a distinctive pop against the metal surface. This is a substantial band with real presence on the finger, and it has plenty of life left to give after more than a century of wear. Note that wider bands typically fit slightly more snug than a thin band. A great antique ring.
