This Victorian Scottish agate brooch has a softly oval form set with striated agate inlays in shades ranging from pale greyish blue to brown. Hand-engraved details run around the border, framing an open center. The reverse shows a replacement safety closure alongside the original tube hinge and pin. The brooch is solidly constructed and remains wearable despite age-related wear. Despite its Victorian charm, this piece is not in perfect condition and is sold at a discounted price.

CONDITION
Age-related wear is visible throughout. Two of the agates are chipped, as shown in images. The safety closure on the reverse is a replacement, though the original tube hinge and pin remain intact. This piece is sold discounted as-is.
