Victorian Emerald & Pearl Ring with Black Enamel in 14K Gold - As Is

Beautiful Victorian era ring in 14K yellow gold featuring a green emerald surrounded by four luminous pearls, further accented with black enamel details. The decorative cast mount displays intricate shoulder work and fine beaded details throughout, giving the ring a rich dimensional quality characteristic of late 19th century jewelry. Note that this ring has a few historical repairs fully noted in the condition report. It is sturdy, but has been well loved.

CONDITION

This ring is very cool, however it is well loved and being sold as-is. There is a small amount of epoxy visible on the back of one pearl, likely an older repair. One pearl also has a very fine wire running through it, wrapping it into the setting. An unusual older repair that is unusual yet secure. Pearls have age related wear to the nacre however present well. The emerald is secure and the enamel remains in nice condition overall. General age-related wear throughout consistent with use and age.
