This Victorian set pairs a pendant brooch with matching earrings, all featuring intricately hand carved coral in a well matched salmon pinkish orange color. The coral is shaped into organic clusters with naturalistic, dimensional carving that gives the pieces a soft, sculptural quality. The pendant brooch measures 3in excluding the bail and includes a removable attachment, allowing it to be worn either way. The earrings measure 2.25in in length. Carved coral in the Neapolitan (Torre del Greco) manner, these stunning mid-Victorian earrings bear the French weevil import mark. This is a delicate collectors set and should be worn and handled with care.
