This unusual ring tells a story of reinvention — antique paste stones given new life in a 1940s mounting. The setting is 14 karat yellow gold with floral details on the shoulders. Three colorless paste stones sit across the top: two round old European cut glass stones in 10 karat gold baskets and one old mine cut glass stone in a gold-tone base metal basket. All three baskets have been soldered onto the mounting, creating a handmade piece that was clearly assembled with care and intention. The shank is polished and the ring measures 13.40mm wide at the top. This charming yet strange ring is a real conversation starter! The paste gems appear much older than the mountings, it is likely this was assembled at some point for sentimental reasons.
