This vintage ring features an oval synthetic spinel in a translucent icy blue, bezel-set at the center of an openwork rectangular face. The lab-created stone has a soft, cool tone that draws the eye immediately. Rose-cut marcasites are set throughout the sterling silver frame, their faceted surfaces glinting against the darkened metal. The design draws on Art Deco geometry, with milgrain detailing along the edges and an oxidized patina finish that settles into the recessed areas. This ring does have some light age related wear thorughout, though it presents beautifully on the hand.

CONDITION
The spinel shows abrasions and some age related chipping to its surface. There is a slight wave to the shank on one side at the shoulders. Two tiny marcasites are missing - so small you can barely see without magnification. Patina is present throughout the metalwork. Despite its time-earned wear, this ring is lovely on the hand.
