These are substantial sterling silver clip earrings by Navajo silversmith Ben J. Chavez, each set with a large oval lapis lazuli cabochon. The lapis stones are deeply saturated, showing the rich blue color the material is known for, and they measure 24.51x17.36mm. The silver bezels and frames have a sturdy, handcrafted quality, the earrings are substantial at 21.45g for the pair.
