This Georgian band is a delicate floral composition, with split seed pearls arranged as flowers framing two deep pinkish-purple garnets. The pearls measure approximately 2mm each and are held in crimped collet settings typical of the 1800–1830 period. Split shoulders on either side are carved to resemble leaves, each topped with a small floral motif. The ring sits just 2.4mm tall on the finger, giving it a low, comfortable profile despite the intricate surface work. Over two hundred years old, this piece has a soft, dreamy quality that speaks to the handcrafted nature of early nineteenth-century jewelry.
