This Georgian ring centers on a natural pink sapphire from Sri Lanka, a cushion-cut stone measuring 7.95x6.85mm. The sapphire is unheated and foiled in a closed-back setting, giving it the soft, glowing quality characteristic of Georgian pieces. Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of fourteen rose-cut diamonds, each approximately 2mm, their facets catching light at every angle. The silver-topped gold construction is typical of Georgian craftsmanship, with the silver setting for the stones sitting on a 14-15K gold base. Foliate details decorate the split shoulders, and the shank tapers to a fine 1.7mm band. The ring sits approximately 5mm tall on the finger, keeping the profile close to the hand. This exceptional ring is over 200 years old and will arrive with a GIA report.
