Exceptional Antique Carved Cameo of Artemis in High Relief Diana the Hunter in 14K Gold

Exquisite and rare hand-carved cameo brooch depicting Artemis (Diana), the goddess of the hunt, in striking left-facing high relief. Her crescent moon crown, flowing curls, and finely detailed bow and quiver are beautifully rendered, with her shoulder dramatically carved to emerge in near three-dimensional form. The cameo is bezel-set in solid 14K yellow gold with a rope twist border, a classic Edwardian frame for this mythological masterpiece. The reverse is engraved with “Agnes Blackburn” and the date Nov 11–10, and is stamped with makers mark Allan 14K. A wearable work of art and collector’s heirloom.
