This is a substantial sterling silver cigarette case with a rectangular form and hand-engraved detailing across its surfaces. The case has developed a significant time-earned patina that gives the silver a rich, aged appearance. The engraving work is crisp and deliberate, covering the exterior with decorative patterning. The case has a gilt inside. The piece is fully hallmarked with clear British assay marks, and the case opens and closes securely. There are two elastic straps inside, slightly brittle with age.

CONDITION
The case shows significant patina consistent with its age. The elastic straps in the interior have become brittle with time. Both clasps function well and close securely. Could benefit from a gentle cleaning - we decided to leave as is.
