This Edwardian drop necklace is set with fifteen garnets in a mix of oval and round cuts, all bezel-set along the draped fringe design. The garnets range in color from deep cherry red to a brownish wine red, and they include five oval rose cuts, three round rose cuts, and seven round stones ranging in size from 2.9-6.3mm. Milgrain detailing frames each gemstone, giving the metalwork a fine, finished texture characteristic of Edwardian craftsmanship. The fringe styling creates gentle movement along the neckline, with the stones spaced across the curved drops. This necklace is European with several assay marks and markers marks throughout though we haven't been able to identify the origin. A goergeous antique piece with buttery 15k gold and moody sparkling garnets. Each drop is finished in a bezel cup with an individual hallmark that appears to be a letter C.
