Antique Art Nouveau French Dragon Stick Pin, Silver with Gold wash

Here is a highly collectible Antique Silver French stickpin featuring a mythical creature. The head of the pin features a magnificent griffin or dragon, possibly a stylized lioness in an Art Nouveau style. The head of the creature is emerging from a scrolling flower, and the pin has beautiful organic openwork details. The head of the pin has a gold wash over a silver base that has worn with age. The pin is hallmarked with the French boars head and a makers mark. This lovely little piece of history would make an excellent addition to any antique jewelry collection.

CONDITION  Overall, very nice antique condition. As mentioned, the original gold wash has worn a Slight bend in the pin, a lovely art nouveau piece!
