Striking Earrings with Victorian Era Jet drops in a classic torpedo form, carved in the “cut and shaded” with layered leaf motifs and rosette terminals. Jet is a fossilized form of lignite (ancient wood compressed over millions of years), prized in the 19th century for its deep black tone and light weight, making it ideal for dramatic yet wearable jewelry. The carving here shows crisp, dimensional linework that catches the light. These moody earrings are ready to wear or collect!

CONDITION
Sterling caps and ear wires are later replacements on original Victorian Era drops. Light browning at the top of one drop, not noticeable when worn. Overall very good condition for age. Crisp Carvings, shiny and ready to wear!
