This fantastic Mid-century brooch features carved jade leaves and a small tigers eye quartz nut. The nephrite has a soft, waxy green color and semi-opaque clarity, and the hand-carved leaves show very detailed engraving in the veining. The tiger's eye nut, possibly an acorn or hazelnut, display the stone's characteristic brown banding and silky luster. The gold branch itself has a textured finish that gives it a naturalistic, bark-like quality. The overall effect is organic and dimensional and totally fun!
