Antique Victorian Fancy Chain Necklace in 14K Rose Gold

Here is a fantastic, and very special hand fabricated antique chain necklace with beautifully crafted, intricately fashioned fancy links. This is an Etruscan Revival Byzantine-esque/rope variation with granulation/bead detail on each link. This necklace measures 20.25 inches and is crafted from solid 14K Rose Gold. The gold is antique with a rich warm patina, this chain was originally part of an antique ladies long guard chain that was split into three separate chains. The clasp works nicely and is not original to the chain and is 14K(stamped & tested). The chain has a weight of 11.6 grams. This gorgeous chain with its unique links will add instant texture to any ensemble. This unique piece of history will be at home in any antique jewelry collection.

CONDITION
This piece is in very nice, well preserved, sturdy and wearable condition. Due to the rare nature of this chain, and its future preservation, we do not recommend hanging oversized/heavy pendants or sleeping in this chain. A beautiful and highly collectable heirloom quality piece!
