An antique ring with a beautiful old world feel, built around a generous oval cabochon amethyst. The amethyst is in soft purple, almost "rose de France" hue, a natural stone with some naturally occurring color zoning from its crystal growth. A pair of bezel-set diamonds flank each side of the center stone. The sculptural, flowing design speaks to early 19th century aesthetics, with has nice finger coverage and presence on the hand. This etherial ring is ready to wear or collect!

Very nice condition overall, ready to wear or collect. This ring has been professionally reshanked at some point, restoring its sturdiness. Light surface wear throughout. Wonderful and ready to wear!
