This Austro-Hungarian garnet cluster ring dates to the early 1900s and features rose-cut garnets in a deep wine red. The stones are arranged in a classic tiered cluster formation, and their faceted tops produce moody, glittering sparkle when the light hits them. The ring was originally gold plate over sterling (vermeil), and while most of that plating has worn away, a slight warmth remains. A romantic glittering ring!

CONDITION
The ring is in lovely condition overall. Wear to the original gold plating has revealed the silver base beneath, which is consistent with age and use.
