Jewelry Consignment Consultations

Schedule a Jewelry Consultation

Not sure what to do with your jewelry? Bring in your unwanted fine, vintage, or antique pieces to see if they're a candidate for consignment or purchase.

We offer a straightforward, transparent process for selling or consigning fine jewelry. While we specialize in antiques, we also accept select vintage and contemporary pieces. As an established online retailer with a wide reach, we can often find buyers for unique items that traditional jewelry stores overlook — and we handle the entire process with care, from evaluation to sale.

Consultations take place at our shop in Savage and are by appointment, so we can give you and your pieces our full attention. Most appointments take about 20–30 minutes.

A few notes before you come in:

  • We focus on antique and vintage fine jewelry and we rarely purchase or consign costume pieces — but we're always happy to take a look.
  • Consultations are in-person at our Savage location. We're not able to offer out-of-state consignment or buying at this time.
  • Not every piece is the right fit for our inventory, but we'll always give you an honest assessment.
  • Please note that this is not a formal appraisal.
  • We are licensed gold buyers. If you're hoping to sell, please have your ID ready.

Consignment FAQ

What if I don't know if my jewelry is "real"?

No worries! We understand jewelry can be confusing. We can help you understand your pieces. Please note that we dont sort though "jewelry jars" or big boxes of jewelry. Please call ahead if you have over 10 pieces.

I have an insurance appraisal, will I get the number I see on the appraisal?

Not likely. An insurance appraisal is not a retail value, it is a replacement value- this means most insurance appraisals will have a value listed that is considerably higher than what you can expect to sell your piece for. We price our pieces based on the materials (precious metals and gemstones) and fair market price for the item.

How do I get paid when my item sells?

On the 10th of the following month, we will issue a check in the mail for the sale of your item. This will be sent to the address we have on file.

How do I know if my Jewelry has Sold?

When your item sells, we will send you an email to let you know. However, if you are curious- you are welcome to call us anytime and ask! The email will go out the month following the month of the sale.

What should I bring?

If you have any appraisals or gemstone reports for your pieces, please bring them in. We will still do our own assessment in store. For designer or antique pieces, bring any original boxes you may have for your pieces. Do not worry if you don't have these things.

How Much is my Jewelry Worth?

Unfortunately we can't give you a retail / consignment estimate without seeing the jewelry in person. We need to be able to authenticate and test the piece which requires handling in person. We will consider the materials of your jewelry, the metal/stones, and combine it with other factors such as the resale market value and rarity. Some rare items with important stones may need further testing and evaluation beyond the initial consultation.

Can I drop the jewelry off and pick it up later If I don't have time to wait?

Yes, if you want consignment quotes on your pieces and you are in a hurry, this is a great option and it's actually easier on our team as well!

How long do I leave my jewelry on Consignment?

We prefer each item stays with us for at least 6 - 9 months, however you own the piece until it sells and you can pick it up at any time. Please call ahead if you plan to pick up your jewelry early so we can have it ready for you.
