art-deco-pools-of-light-rock-crystal-necklace-in-sterling-silver
Antique Pools of Light Rock Crystal Necklace in Silver

This is an exceptional Antique "pools of light" necklace featuring 32 undrilled rock crystal orbs, each measuring 12.5mm round. The orbs are set in floral silver mountings that grip each sphere without drilling through the stone. The crystal is clear and luminous, with each orb catching and holding light in that distinctive glowing way that makes these pieces so sought after. The necklace is designed with two sterling silver clasps, allowing it to be worn as a single long strand at 25.5in or separated into a 17in necklace and a 7.5in bracelet. The floral motifs in the silver mountings give the piece a romantic, botanical quality while maintaining the geometric rhythm of repeating spheres. This beautiful necklace appears to glow from within.

DETAILS
Sterling silver clasps with silver alloy mountings, 96.5g
32 undrilled rock crystal orbs, each 12.5mm round
Ant / 1910s–30s / Estate

CONDITION
The necklace is in nice pre-owned condition with light, minimal age-related surface wear consistent with its age.
