art-deco-carved-jade-drop-earrings-in-sterling-silver
Art Deco Carved Jade Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver and White Gold

These antique Chinese import elongated drop earrings feature carved jade stones in shades of minty mottled green, each with openwork foliate designs carved into the stone. A small embossed bird sits at the top of each earring, and the sterling silver has a textured finish with a faded gold wash that adds warmth to the metal. These were converted from their original screw backs and have 14K white gold posts and backings. The earrings hang 2.25 inch in length, giving them nice movement and presence on the ear. A beautiful antique pair to be worn and collected with care.

DETAILS
14K White gold posts and backs on Sterling silver with faded gold wash, no hallmarks, tested, 6.96g

2.25 inch length
Carved jade
Art Deco / 1920s–30s / Estate

CONDITION
Good pre-owned condition with wear commensurate with age.
